Biography

Widely regarded as one of the best left backs in history, Marcelo successfully built upon the legacy of his fellow Brazilian legend Roberto Carlos at Real Madrid. With Los Blancos, he won a mountain of trophies, including six LALIGA titles and an impressive five UEFA Champions League crowns, three of which came consecutively between 2015-16 and 2017-18. He returned to his boyhood club Fluminense in the twilight of his career to help them clinch the CONMEBOL Libertadores.
