Biography

After an incredible comeback, the 2005 UEFA Champions League Final went to extra time with Liverpool looking for another hero. That hero turned out to be goalkeeper Jerzy Dudek who produced an excellent double save to prevent a late Andriy Shevchenko winner, taking the tie to a penalty shootout. Dudek got inside the heads of the opposition by famously wobbling his legs before saving two penalties, including the final penalty by Shevchenko to complete a 3-2 shootout win.
